Youth Together Featured in the San Francisco Foundation Annual Report

Weeks before the Oakland Educators Strike in February, Youth Together staff prepped together groceries for 500 students attending “solidarity schools” to make sure no students goes hungry.

The San Francisco Foundation gave emergency grants to Youth Together on February 14, 2019, allowing them to quickly establish these "solidarity schools" that provided meals for students and stipends for the teachers working there.
