Food Insecurity Impacts 9 Million Children

The average price of food in the United States has increased by 10.4% since 2021. Day by day, more families continue to face food insecurity. With inflation on the rise, low-income families struggle to keep everything afloat with their daily necessities. Those who are most affected are people from BIPOC communities.

In 2020, Youth Together created “Feed The People Food Pantry” in OLOP’s Youth Center to serve the students, families, teachers, and community of Skyline High School. Our mission is to provide easy access to food resources to our youth and families.
