Wednesday 28th 2009, students, teachers, and community based organizations responded to the sexual assault of a Richmond High student. They spoke a message of healing and solidarity.
Monday, October14th Governor Schwarzenegger Vetoed Assembly Bill 8, an important bill that would have provided state’s citizens a new school funding structure to replace the confusing and often times archaic existing school finance system.
Youth Together was awarded the “Champions of Change Award” on September 24th. See Youth Together staff and youth celebrate social change.
This will be a great day where we can welcome our new Richmond Site Organizer. We will also be celebrating June and Summer Birthdays and giving our goodbyes to those leaving us.
